Llety Gwyliau Hedd Wen Holiday Let
Bwthyn gwyliau i’w rentu yn Nebo, Gwynedd
Holiday cottage to let in Nebo, Gwynedd
Dewch i fwynhau’r heddwch a’r golygfeydd hardd sydd ar gynnig yma yn Hedd Wen. Mae’r bwthyn wedi ei leoli’n wych ar gyrion Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri, gyda machludau haul bendigedig ac Ynys Llanddwyn ac Ynys Môn i’r gogledd, ‘Yr Wyddfa’ i’r dwyrain, a bryniau hyfryd i’r de a’r gorllewin i gyd yn weladwy’n aml (dibynnol ar y tywydd).
Lle gwych mewn ardal prydferth a thawel, ond eto dim ond 20 munud mewn car i drefi hanesyddol Caernarfon a Phorthmadog. Digon o draethau braf gerllaw. Teithiau cerdded a heiciau gwych o garreg y drws! Llwybr beicio golygfaol gerllaw hefyd (Lôn Eifion).

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. ‘Hedd Wen’ is fantastically positioned on the edge of Eryri National Park, with breathtaking sunsets and views including ‘Yr Wyddfa’ (Mount Snowdon) to the east, Ynys Llanddwyn (Llanddwyn Island) and Ynys Môn (Anglesey) to the north, beautiful hills to the south and west.
Great property in a lovely, quiet area, yet only 20 minutes by car to the historic towns of Caernarfon and Porthmadog. Nice beaches nearby. Great walks and hikes from the doorstep! A scenic cycle route nearby too (Lôn Eifion).
About the property
The cottage was purpose-built and completed in March 2023. It’s bright, modern and spacious with added comfort of under-floor heating throughout.
The master and second bedrooms both have king-sized beds, while the third bedroom has two single beds.
The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, while the family bathroom has a nice-sized bath with overhead shower. The bathrooms have towel rails.
There is a large open plan kitchen/diner and living room, with a large wood burner in the corner. A separate second living room is located next to the master bedroom, offering a quiet space if needed and a desk area for writing or working. Books and board games are also located here. A door separates the two living rooms, providing privacy if needed – ideal for extended family or friends sharing the accommodation.
Patio doors lead you out to the spacious patio area, picnic table and garden. There are also French doors in the second living room.
There is underfloor heating throughout, with a separate thermostat for each room. Although the cottage itself doesn’t have CCTV, there are non-audio camers affixed to the outside of the main house (where the owner’s family live) and to the agricultural shed, covering the yard area.
Free, fast wi-fi is included.
Accessibility
Hedd Wen has accessible parking directly outside the cottage and step-free entrance into the cottage, making it suitable for wheelchair users.
We always welcome assistance dogs.
We’re happy to help our guests with their luggage when requested.
The patio is also step-free. There is one step from the patio to access the picnic area and garden.

About us
Lucinda and I would be delighted to host you here at ‘Hedd Wen’, situated on the property of ‘Bryniau Cochion’ which has been our much-loved home in scenic North Wales since 2016.
Previously, there stood some rather unsightly dog kennels in the area where the stunning cottage now stands. The project took almost two years to complete and we’re delighted with the beautiful property now on offer to our guests.
I’m a native Welsh speaker, born and raised in Ynys Môn (Anglesey). In 1997 I moved to Aberdeenshire for work, where I met Lucinda and we’ve been together ever since!
We are both animal lovers. Our guests enjoy seeing the animals roaming around. Merlin & Mildred (our much-loved cats) are quite famous by now as they often visit our guests!
Once you come to stay with us, you’ll love it here as much as we do!
Hope to see you soon. Nige
Contact & location
To book Llety Gwyliau Hedd Wen Holiday Let, please use the calendar above to check availability and then contact us by email at post@lletyheddwen.com.
Once you turn off the A487, continue along Ffordd y Parc and take a left turn at the T-junction (please be careful and ‘peep-and-creep’ at this junction as it’s a tricky junction). Continue onto Ffordd Nasareth and DO NOT take the first right-turn signposted Nebo (too narrow), Instead, continue further along and take the next right turn (which is wide and uphill). Continue forward and through the village. You’ll see the primary school on your right and you need to continue straight ahead onto Ffordd Cors Y Llyn. You’ll then go over a small bridge and passed the first left turn which is ‘Bryn Coch Mawr’ (don’t turn there!). Take the next left turn which is approx. 70 metres after ‘Bryn Coch Mawr’ (the turning is unsigned). It takes you onto a track road for approx. 100 metres and our property gate is on your left BEFORE you get to the tight corner (It has a red ‘Bryniau Cochion’ sign on the gate). Come through the gate (closing it behind you) and continue straight down to far end of site where you can park right in front of the cottage.
